I gotta say that I really enjoy drawing Solveig and Magnus! First picture of his face btw :'D Also the scenery of their world or better, country, Norway inspires and motivates me to finally practise on painting my own backgrounds! :D And it's fun!

So here you have Solveig, the reincarnation of the midnight sun and her troll companion on their way to the highest mountain, to find the mountain king. I will tell more of their story in the upcoming pictures, in case someones interested! Just let me know ;)

Short Synopsis: Land of the midnight sunLegends say that the Northern lands were reigned by ancient forces ever since their hour of birth.
Superior beings, one with nature.
There were four of them. The king of the woods, the king of the fjords, the king of the sky and the king of the mountains.
Three of them were gracious and they protected their land and all its being with their mighty powers.
However, the fourth of them, the ruler over the mountains also called the mountain king was embittered, coldhearted and avid for power.
He craved the sole reign over the Northern lands and the repression all of its creatures.
They say there was a heart of ice beating in his chest.
The other kings perceived his intentions and united their powers to ban him into the highest mountain. So that he shall forever be sealed and his evil soul would never see the light again.
But it was to be different.
Centuries later, when the old kings were nothing more than legends and stories in old books and feuds were reigning the country, some people cr

I'm no expert, but I swear, one single illustration of yours, has more Scandinavian culture in it than the entirety of the Frozen series.
